Westair Helicopters recently introduced the versatile H225 aircraft into its fleet to carry out offshore energy operations at its L\u00fcderitz base in Namibia. With its extended range, the H225 fleet will support an exploration campaign with TotalEnergies.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Namibian oil &amp; gas industry requires extended range helicopters and the long range performance capabilities of the H225 were required to serve TotalEnergies\u2019 exploration campaign,\u201d said Edwin Soeters, Westair Helicopters CEO. \u201cWith the fleet of three H225 helicopters, we will be able to offer a safe, reliable and efficient service to our most demanding customers,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are honoured to support Westair Helicopters and TotalEnergies in their long-range offshore energy missions with this multi-services HCare package for the H225,\u201d said&nbsp;Romain Trapp, Executive Vice President Customer Support &amp; Services at Airbus Helicopters. \u201cThis&nbsp; contract reflects their trust in our ability to deliver comprehensive support and ensure optimal availability, enabling the crews to focus on their critical operations with peace of mind.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This multi-services contract provides support services encompassing timely replacement of parts, HUMS technical support, and more. This results in decreased aircraft downtime and more stable maintenance expenses for Westair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the latest addition to the Super Puma family, the H225 is recognized for its high performance in challenging conditions as well as its outstanding range and payload capacity.
