Equivalent to a power-by-the-hour service, TAP\u00a0enables\u00a0operators to fly their\u00a0aircraft\u00a0at a known cost-per-hour\u00a0basis,\u00a0and\u00a0receive replacement parts\u00a0when needed.\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe past 10 months have seen strong demand by offshore energy companies to renew TAP\u00a0aftermarket\u00a0agreements into the early 2030s,\u201d said Leon Silva, Sikorsky vice president, Global Commercial and Military Systems. \u201cMulti-year coverage signals confidence in the reliability\u00a0and endurance\u00a0of the S-92\u00a0helicopter,\u00a0and\u00a0in\u00a0our\u00a0ability\u00a0to\u00a0deliver or stock aftermarket parts that\u00a0help these\u00a0aircraft\u00a0fly\u00a0consistently\u00a0in the mid-90\u00a0percent availability rates,\u00a0among the highest\u00a0in the industry.\u201d\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>Bristow, the largest S-92 operator, renewed its TAP agreement in April 2025 to support\u00a0approximately\u00a060\u00a0aircraft.\u00a0Since then,\u00a0five\u00a0additional\u00a0operators,\u00a0including\u00a0Offshore Helicopter Services,\u00a0have renewed their contracts. The\u00a0six\u00a0contracts collectively signed through\u00a0February\u00a02026\u00a0comprise\u00a0almost 100\u00a0aircraft.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TAP\u00a0provides coverage for more than 90 percent\u00a0of\u00a0S-92\u00a0replacement parts cost, including airframe, drive train, gearbox,\u00a0avionics\u00a0and consumable components.\u00a0This\u00a0service\u00a0benefits\u00a0those flying\u00a0one\u00a0S-92\u00a0aircraft\u00a0100 hours a year, or\u00a0large fleet operators accumulating up to 1,500 hours per\u00a0aircraft\u00a0annually\u00a0during\u00a0frequent\u00a0long-range offshore\u00a0trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"388\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dgualdo.it\/wpmain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/S-92_OHS_2-600x388.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9669\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dgualdo.it\/wpmain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/S-92_OHS_2-600x388.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.dgualdo.it\/wpmain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/S-92_OHS_2-300x194.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.dgualdo.it\/wpmain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/S-92_OHS_2-768x497.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.dgualdo.it\/wpmain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/S-92_OHS_2-1536x993.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.dgualdo.it\/wpmain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/S-92_OHS_2-2048x1324.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TAP by the numbers\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>\u2981 Sikorsky launched its TAP in 2004 with two\u00a0S-92\u00a0offshore energy\u00a0operators\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Omni\u00a0and PHI.\u00a0\u00a0<br>\u2981 In 2026,\u00a0a total of\u00a0nine\u00a0S-92 operators\u00a0\u2014\u00a0the vast majority\u00a0in the offshore energy and search and rescue sectors \u2014 receive TAP\u00a0coverage.\u00a0Nearly all\u00a0S-92 operators\u00a0who contracts for multi-year TAP agreements in 2015 have\u00a0renewed.\u00a0\u00a0<br>\u2981 Of the\u00a0270\u00a0active\u00a0S-92\u00a0helicopters\u00a0across\u00a0the global fleet,\u00a0155\u00a0(57%)\u00a0are\u00a0covered by TAP contracts.\u00a0\u00a0<br>\u2981 TAP\u00a0utilizes\u00a0four forward stocking locations (FSL)\u00a0on\u00a0three\u00a0continents to pre-position high demand and long-lead\u00a0time\u00a0parts.\u00a0<br>\u2981 One\u00a0S-92\u00a0aircraft\u00a0that\u00a0retired from offshore service\u00a0after reaching\u00a0the maximum certified 30,000 flight hours\u00a0was\u00a0supported by\u00a0TAP for its entire\u00a020-year\u00a0life.\u00a0\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>\u201cThe continued success of Sikorsky\u2019s TAP for more than two decades clearly demonstrates industry trust in Sikorsky to address evolving challenges,\u201d said Pat Sheedy, CEO of Milestone. \u201cWe are fully confident in the program\u2019s ability to keep our S 92\u00a0aircraft\u00a0mission ready.
